The use of a rental car is without exception only allowed within the state territory of Greece. It is not permitted to take the car out of Greece. By car rental on one of the Greek islands it is generally only permitted to drive the car on the same island. The car may not leave the island. It is not allowed to take rental cars from the mainland to the islands.
Administrative sanctions resulting from traffic violations incurred during the rental period are at the expense of the renter.
If the wrong grade of petrol is filled, the renter will be required to pay for repairs caused by his/her negligence. The sum already paid for a full tank of petrol is not transferable to a substitute vehicle.
By loss of the key or remote control, the renter will be required to pay for a replacement. Price is dependant on dealer and make of car.
Damage to rims or soft tops and cigarette burns inside the car are not covered by the insurance. Any such damages are to be reported on the signed incidence form when handing back the car. A charge will be raised accordingly

MEETING POINT FOR TAKE OVER/RETURN OF RENTAL CAR:
- Airport Heraklion: Upon arrival at the airport please exit the arrivals building, then cross the street on your right. Take the steps next to bus station that leads to the parking area. There you will see the sign and the office of Autocandia.
- Airport Athens: After arrival at Athens airport please go to Exit B5. Next to the exit B5 at the Tourist Busses parking place you will find our shuttle bus (every 10 , 15 minutes), which will bring you to our station (ca. 7 km from the airport, driving time approx. 7 minutes).
- Airport Thessaloniki: Please note that one of our representatives will meet you in Thessaloniki airport at the parking P5 place on arrival level (on your right). You have to look for our shuttle bus which will be at the above described point every 15 minutes according to your flight number. Our shuttle bus will bring you to our office, which is 3 min away from the airport to get the car, tel num +30 2310241241.
- Airport Rhodes: After collecting your luggage’s go out from the building form the exit B, a Autocandia representative will meet you there with a sign bearing your name, our shuttle bus which will bring you to our office to get the car (10 minutes).
- Airport Corfu: The meeting point is at our office in the airport lounge. As the passenger exits the luggage area our office is located right. There is the logo of AUTOCANDIA too.Our representative is waiting for the customer at this office and then leads only the driver with shuttle car to our main station, 300 meters away.
- Airport Kefalonia: Our representative will be waiting in the arrival gate at 'Katsouris' welcome desk.
- All other airports and ports: You will be met at the exit of the safety area by a representative with a sign bearing your name.

We guarantee the delivery of a rental car within the chosen category. We do not accept reservations for a particular make of car and reserve the right to change the category in exceptional cases.
In case of customer cancellation one month before arrival, 100% of amount already paid will be refunded; up to 2 weeks before arrival, 50% and less than 2 weeks before arrival there will be no refund.
Reservations for the same day (less than 24h) may not be served or there is a delay in receipt.

Payment is made via a secure website using either Visa or MasterCard and in co-operation with Eurobank - Greece, which will also validate your credit card details.

CarRentalGreece will verify your booking details and arrange for the due amount to be charged to your credit card. By missing or false booking information the transaction will be deactivated and you will receive an e-mail notification.

The basic rate is calculated in units of 24 hours, with a margin of 4 hours (Exceptions: Athens and Thessaloniki: 90 minutes) taken into consideration for the return of the vehicle. The rate for one day will be charged for return beyond this time.
